We know that breakfast is the most important
meal of the day – on your advance notice,
a delicious meal is served to you in the hostel kitchenette. But if you
rather wish to take an invigorating walk
before enjoying your breakfast, there are several charming cafes nearby
ready to serve you coffee from early hours.
When in Saaremaa, one simply must see Kaali meteorite craters and Sõrve lighthouse. Regional buses depart from Kuressaare bus terminal 200 metres from the hostel. Please see the bus timetables. Yet, if you are pressed for time, or prefer to take in the beauty of Saaremaa at your own pace you could hire a car or a bike at a really reasonable rate. Let us know about your needs and wishes on time - and the vehicle that you have chosen is there by your arrival at the hostel.
After having picked a means of transport, you should prepare your itinerary. Saaremaa
has gorgeous intact nature, impressive historic and cultural heritage, but it
also offers exciting activities. There are many sights to see on the
island. If you happen to visit Saaremaa on a grey and rainy day, pamper
yourself in the saunas and pools of the
numerous Saaremaa spas. To
maximise your experience, attend a festival or a local event.
If you feel that the town of Kuressaare is too busy and tiring, go to the countryside and stay at Andruse organic and tourism farm on the northern coast of the island, 35 km from Kuressaare. Andruse is a cosy living farm with domestic animals.
